![]() ![]() Students participating this fall include Jayvonna Armstrong, Ariana Atwater, Jasmine Baker, Aliah Barker, William Bentley, Alexis Bonner, Shaonte’ Brown, Brydale Buchanan, Donaven Bunch, Keiosha Cole, Caleb Drake, Victoria Flowers, Amari Goddard, Tremaine Harris, Tahwin Herron, Keilani Judkins, Jalen Mack, Mariah Moreland, Joshua Napier, T’Euvyn Page, Celina Peterson, Shaylin Preston, Mackenzie Ragland, Joseph Russell, Jevin Sterling, Kennami Stewart, Shanita Taylor, Rory Tigler, Shatasha Tolliver, Joseph Walters and Tashaun Wilson. The addition of the adjunct professors has proven to be a successful change to the Dual Credit Program. Students in grades 9-12 are taking college courses and this year four Sinclair professors are teaching those courses at Jefferson. In the 2013-2014 school year, two Jefferson students graduated with both an associate’s degree and a high school diploma. Credits are guaranteed to transfer to any state college in Ohio. ![]() Students begin taking college coursework as ninth graders and they may accumulate as many as 60 hours of college credit - equivalent to an associate of arts or associate of applied science degree. The cost of tuition, books, and other related expenses are covered completely for each student participant by Jefferson Township Local Schools. Students have several choices and may use a combination of them to complete up to two years worth of college before they graduate from high school. The program allows students to earn both high school and college credit concurrently. For the past four years, Jefferson Township Local Schools has partnered with Sinclair Community College and other institutions of higher education to provide dual-enrollment courses or college-level courses in Jefferson Township Jr./Sr. ![]()
